FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q. Will there be a charge for Set-up time?
A. No. The DJ will arrive and have all equipment set up and sound checked approximately an hour prior to the start of the function. This is done on Parteez Inc. time and you will not be charged for any set up or pack down time.
Q. What will the DJ wear for our event?
A. Your DJ will be suitably dressed in black dress pants and black dress shirt. If your function is a black tie event, then a suit will be worn. An MC will always wear a suit.
Q. How much experience has the DJ had?
A. All of our DJs are experienced and professional. You can be guaranteed you will not get an inexperienced apprentice as we do not employ them to send them out on such important occasions.Our DJs must have at least 5-6 years experience before doing a wedding or corporate function. Most of our Special Event DJs have had between 5 and 20 years experience.
Q. If the function looks as if it may go longer, is extra time an option?
A. If your function is extended past the set package time, we will be more than happy to continue playing. The fee for overtime will be $50 per hour.
Q. Can we meet the DJ that will be performing our event?
A. If you book a reception or complete package, a consultation is included in the price. If you book a basic package, we can organise a meeting for you for a small fee of $20.
Q. How far in advance should we book a DJ?
A. As soon as you know where and when you are getting married it is advised to book service providers such as celebrant, photographer and entertainment. As these are services that can only be provided to one person at a time, it's great to get in first to avoid disappointment. Booking as early as possible is a wise move.
Q. Is there a "travel charge" for long distances?
A. If you are having your function that is not in the metropolitan area there will be a travel fee to cover costs to the DJ.

Q. Can our guests make song requests to the DJ and will he/she play them?
A. We encourage you allow the DJ to take requests from your guests. We strive to keep all in attendance happy and cater to all music tastes
Q. Does the music have to be loud to be good?
A. No. The volume of the music will change throughout the night to suit various stages of the function. We will keep the music at an audible level so as not to cause discomfort.
Q. What if the event start time is changed after the booking is made?
A. If any situation has changed there is no need to stress. As long as we have finalised all details at least 4 days before the function. We understand that some things can be changed and we are flexible to accommodate these.
Q. What if the DJ gets sick or can't make it for some other reason?
A. At all times we have a standby DJ who is equally qualified to step in if any unforseen circumstances arise.
Q. How do we secure Parteez Inc. services?
A. All we ask is a deposit of $50 to secure the booking.
Q. What if we have to Cancel or Postpone the event?
A. If you cancel within 4 months of booking your event, we will happily refund your deposit. Please understand the deposit is non-refundable after this time period. If you postpone your event, we will be more than happy to move it forward to a later date at no extra charge.
Q. When is the Balance due?
A. We request the balance be paid on commencement of or before the function.
Q. What payment methods do you accept?
A. When paying the deposit, we accept cheque, money order or direct deposit. These are also accepted for the balance if it is being paid prior to the function. If the balance is being paid on the day of the function, we will only accept cash.
Q. Are we required to feed the DJ and will he/she drink alcohol during the function?
A. If the DJ is working longer than 4 hours, a light meal and non alcoholic beverages would be appreciated. No alcohol will be consumed by the DJ while he / she is on duty.
Q. Does the DJ take any Breaks?
A. No. The DJ will play music from beginning to end of the function.
Q. Does the DJ use professional audio gear and what are some of the brand names they use?
A. All of our equipment is above industry standard. No domestic systems or walkmans are used. Some of the brand names we use are as follows:
Denon, Numark, Pioneer, Quest, Chauvet, Citronic, Shure, Crown, Chiayo, Technics, Acme.
